Order Terms

By ordering and using our products or services through the paintbynumbers.fi online store, you agree to these terms, which the Customer (individual or company) must read in full. This is a prerequisite for ordering. The order constitutes an agreement that both the Customer and Invecom Oy (2886184-9, hereafter the Seller) commit to comply with.

Invecom Oy does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free operation of the online store, and there may be interruptions in the service. Invecom Oy is not responsible for damages related to the use of the online store.

The online store sells products for which the Seller, according to the consumer protection law, is Invecom Oy.                                                                                                          

 

2.Products

Our online store offers the following products and services:

-diamond paintings

-paint by numbers

-paint by numbers and diamond paintings made from the customer's photo

-scratch pictures

-cross-stitch works

-tools and accessories for paint by numbers and diamond painting

 

3.Purpose of the Agreement

The purpose of the agreement is to define the precise content of the product or service offered by the seller, and the related terms. As well as the terms related to the customer's responsibility and order.

The seller and the customer commit to fulfilling their obligations and respecting the order and delivery terms mentioned in this agreement.

 

4.Ordering

The customer (individual) must be of legal age and fully competent.

The company, on the other hand, must be registered in the trade or association register, and the representative of the company must have the right to represent the company.

The personal, address, and billing information entered by the customer must be up-to-date and correct. The customer is obliged to inform the Seller of any changed information, if it affects billing or product delivery.

 

 

5.Delivery Terms

The usual delivery time for stock products is 1-3 business days.

For products made to order, the delivery time is approx. 7 business days.

Our delivery area is all of Finland.

The delivery fee is 6.90€. Customized products are sent from another warehouse, which may result in additional shipping costs for the order. Free delivery for orders over 60€. 

 

6.Returning and Cancelling

The customer has the right under Finnish consumer protection law to exchange or return the entire order or part of it within 14 days of receiving the order.

The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging, and products not made to the customer's order.

When returning a delivered order, the customer must first contact the seller via email: info@paintbynumbers.fi. Please also note that the Seller is not responsible for postage costs incurred from exchanging the product or any potential issues, loss, or damage related to the return. It is advisable for the customer to retain the return receipt for verification purposes.

In case of returns, the payment will be refunded to the payment method used in the order once the product has been returned to the seller. The customer will receive the refunded amount to their chosen payment method within 1-3 business days after the seller has received and inspected the returned product.

There is no right of return or cancellation for paintings made from the customer's image if the production of the product has already begun.

The customer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days of ordering by notifying the Seller. In such a case, the amount paid by the Customer will be refunded to the payment method chosen in the order.

 

7.Payment Service Terms

Paytrail is a secure payment method for the Customer. We have a payment institution license granted by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Paytrail Oyj (business ID 2122839-7) and is part of the Nets family.

The Paytrail payment service forwards your payment to the merchant. If you see Paytrail Oyj on your bank statement or credit card bill, we have forwarded your payment.

The online store acts as the marketer of products and services as well as the supplier of products to the customer. The online store takes care of statutory and self-defined obligations related to the sale. If you want to make a complaint or return a product, you should contact the online store from which the product was ordered directly.

8.Use and Storage of Customer Images

The Seller commits to handling and using the Customer's images confidentially.

Images are used solely for the production of the product ordered by the Customer and are destroyed thereafter.

If the Seller wishes to use the image of the product made from the Customer's image for marketing, separate permission will be requested from the Customer if the image of the finished product clearly and entirely distinguishes the image sent by the Customer as a model to the Seller.

Please note that the Customer uploads their images to a platform managed by a third party, Cloudlift, and the Seller is not responsible for the operation, effects, or how Cloudlift handles the images. Cloudlift retains the images uploaded by the Customer for 180 days, after which the images are deleted.

The Seller uses at least the following programs to edit the Customer's images: Photoshop, Illustrator, Cloud Diamond Painting, HitPaw, Luminar Neo, and Prima Cartoonizer. The Seller is not responsible for the operation or effects of these programs.

 

9.Intellectual Property Rights of the Online Store

The content of the online store (images, texts, product information, trademarks, videos, logos, and tables) is protected by the copyrights of the Seller or its partners. Unauthorized use and copying are prohibited. Finnish law applies to intellectual property rights.

 

10.Duration of the Agreement

The contract and customer relationship come into effect at the moment of acceptance of this agreement, i.e., the moment when the Customer places an order.

 

11. Data Protection

The preparation, handling, and delivery of the order may require the seller to process personal data, which is always carried out in accordance with the currently valid privacy statement, which the Customer accepts. These terms and the Privacy Statement together form the agreement on the processing of personal data.

The seller retains all information provided by the Customer with comprehensive security measures. The storage and processing of information are carried out through service providers known to be secure, information is protected with strictly limited access rights and is processed only for the purpose for which it was collected. All information is always handled confidentially.

The seller commits to ensuring its information security in a generally accepted, reliable manner and takes necessary actions to prevent unauthorized access by third parties to its information systems with appropriate technical solutions. However, the seller does not guarantee complete information security.

 

12. Force Majeure

A force majeure is an unforeseen event that prevents or makes it unreasonably difficult for the seller to fulfill its contractual obligations within the specified time. Such events include war, rebellion, natural disaster, general interruption of energy distribution, or exceptionally widespread failure of telecommunication connections, fire, strike, blockade, or any other equally significant and unusual reason independent of the contracting parties. The seller must promptly notify the Customer of the force majeure and its effects as well as the end of the force majeure.

 

13. Other

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes concerning the interpretation or enforcement of the contract and its terms are primarily resolved through negotiation. If the matter cannot be resolved by agreement, the Helsinki District Court will resolve it as the first instance.
